Web Developer (Content Management)

Role and Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and integrate solutions for Oracle WebCenter Sites (WCS), Endeca, and Marketing Cloud, participating throughout the complete application development lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with web publishers, IT teams, and management to understand business challenges, prioritize requirements, recommend industry best practices, and develop appropriate solutions and implementation plans.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements for publishing platforms and customer-facing websites.
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), report project status, track defects through resolution, and provide necessary sign-offs.
  • Provide production rollout support and conduct post-go-live testing, validation, and issue resolution.
  • Drive platform and architectural enhancements in collaboration with IT and legal teams through proofs of concept, prototypes, mock-ups, and technical presentations.
  • Provide technical leadership in designing, developing, and implementing business-critical solutions for Oracle-based web platforms.

Preferred Requirements

  • 4–6 years of proven experience in software development, preferably working with complex enterprise applications and internal systems.
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS), Requirements Analysis, Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD), Quality Assurance, Test Automation, Project Management, Business Systems, Release Management, Production Support, and Knowledge Management.
  • Good understanding of Content Delivery Networks (CDN) such as Akamai is an advantage.
  • Experience managing website translation and localization solutions is a plus.
  • Good understanding of taxonomy and content classification.
  • Exposure to dynamic content management and delivery.
  • Working knowledge of ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Strong experience with REST APIs.
  • Exposure to webhooks and event-driven integrations.
  • Experience with project and collaboration tools such as Jira, ALM, and Confluence.
  • Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and related development methodologies.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
