St.John Paul II Malankara Catholic Church is the youngest church in Trivandrum Major Archdiocese. It is the first church in malankara to named after the saint pope John Paul II. The Parish was announced by His Beatitude Moran Mor Baselios Cardinal Cleemis Catholicos the Head and Father of Syro-Malankara Catholic Church on February 26, 2012. Rev. Fr. Nelson Valiyaveettil has been appointed as the first vicar of the church. The Holy Relics of St. John Paull II has been installed in the church on May 4, 2014

Diocese of Puttur

The Diocese of Puttur consists of nine civil districts of Karnataka State with a vast geographical area of 51,950 square kilometers. The civil districts are South Kanara (Dakshina Kannada), Chamarajnagar, Chickmagalur, Hassan, Kodagu, Mandya, Mysore, Shimoga and Udupi. It has two ecclesiastical districts of South Kanara (Dakshina Kannada) and Shimoga.

Vimala Hridaya Matha Malankara Syrian Catholic Church was established in 1933 by the initiations of Shri Ponnu Upadheshi, Shri Devdas Upadeshi Shri Karumpan and Shri Pachan. His Grace Servant of God Mar Ivanios had visited the parish and he baptized 36 people to the faith of our lord Jesus Christ on 17th April 1934.

SMCC Mylapra

His Grace Mar Ivanios had laid the foundation stone On March 13, 1941 and the church was consecrated on September 14 and 15, 1944. The construction was supervised by Fr A. G. Abraham and NI Thomas Naickamparambil. Between 1940 and 1950 many families joined the church and chapels were built in Mannarkulanji, Mekozhoor and Valyanti. Later all these chapels became independent churches. Thus all these churches including Marygiri have Mylapra Sacred Heart as their mother church.

SMCC Urukunnu

Lourde Matha Syro-Malankara Catholic Church was established in 1956. When the Re-Union Movement was very strong in the 1950s the Eastern part of Kollam district was a constructive platform for the mission works. Seven families in Urukunnu were re-united with the Catholic Church in 1956 by the vocation of the great missionary Rev.Fr.Thomas Vilayil and the then Archbishop of Trivandrum Most. Rev. Benedict Mar Gregorios Metropolitan had provide all support and blessings.

Rosa Mystica

St.Mary Queen of peace Basilica, the first church of Syro- Malankara Catholic Church is situated in the heart of Thiruvananthapuram City. Servant of God Archbishop Mar Ivanios was enthroned as the Head of the Malankara Syrian Catholic Hierarchy here in the year 1933. This is the only church which was originally a Movie Theatre. This is the only Basilica of the Malankara Catholic Church And the only basilica dedicated in the name of Queen of Peace. This pilgrim church is open from 6.00 am to 9.30 pm for visit and prayer.

MCYM

The Catholic Youth Movement of Kerala dates back to the second half of the 1960s. Although there were some youth origanisations in the parish level at different parts of Kerala, the spread of the organization of the youth movements in the diocesan took place rather late. Two reasons seems to be of prime importance for the foundation of the youth organizations in the late 1960s.First of all in the church there was a great enthusiasm both in the Kerala region and National level discussions.

പത്തൊൻപതാം നൂറ്റാണ്ടിന്റെ മധ്യ കാല ഘട്ടത്തിൽ ആലപ്പുഴയിൽ നിന്നും കാർഷീക വൃത്തിയുമായി കോന്നി അടുകാട് പ്രദേശത്തു എത്തി ചേർന്ന വൈക്കത്തുകാരൻ വീട്ടിൽ തൊമ്മൻ സഖറിയായും ഭാര്യയും സീറോ മലബാർ പാരമ്പര്യമുള്ള പൗരാണിക ക്രിസ്ത്യാനികളായിരുന്നു . പയ്യനാമൺ ഭാഗത്തു ആ സമയത്തു കത്തോലിക്കാ കൂട്ടായ്മകൾ ഇല്ലാതിരുന്നതിനാൽ അദ്ദേഹത്തിനും കുടുംബാംഗങ്ങൾക്കും ആരാധനാ സംബന്ധമായ എല്ലാ കാര്യങ്ങളും അസാധ്യമായിരുന്നു.
